From beginners to seasoned players, 20games has the right table for you. Cash games, tournaments with BRL prize pools, and live poker with Portuguese-speaking dealers.
Brazil has one of the most passionate poker communities in Latin America. And it makes sense — the game fits the Brazilian mindset perfectly: strategy, reading opponents, patience to wait for the right hand, and the nerve to go all-in when the moment comes. The 20games understands this, which is why it built a poker room that serves both beginners learning Texas Hold'em and experienced players looking for high-stakes cash games and tournaments with real BRL guarantees.
The poker platform from 20games runs directly in your mobile or desktop browser — no installation needed. The interface is clean and responsive: you can see the pot, bets, and cards without distraction, with a decision timer displayed on screen. For mobile players (the majority in Brazil), the experience is just as good as on desktop: large buttons, easy-to-read cards, and notifications when it's your turn to act.
Tournament winnings withdrawals at 20games follow the same standard as the rest of the platform: Pix arrives in under 2 minutes, with no withdrawal fee. You can deposit and withdraw via Pix, boleto bancário, credit or debit card, PicPay, Mercado Pago, or TED bank transfer to Nubank, Itaú, Bradesco, and Banco do Brasil accounts. No complications, no surprises.

From beginner to advanced — the hand rankings every player needs to know
Concepts every Brazilian player should know before sitting down at a table
The temptation to play every hand is real, especially at first. But profitable players are selective — they wait for the right spot to enter the pot with strength.
Acting after your opponents is a huge edge. On the button (dealer position), you act last in most rounds — and in poker, information is everything.
In online poker, betting patterns reveal a lot. A player who always bets big with strong hands will eventually show the same patterns with weak ones too.
Pot odds are the ratio between the pot size and the cost of a call. Understanding this basic math already puts you ahead of most recreational players.
Never put more than 5% of your total bankroll into a single cash game session. Bankroll management is what separates players who keep playing from those who bust out early.
Tilt is when negative emotions start affecting your decisions. After a bad beat, step away from the table if you need to. No decision made in the heat of anger ends well.
Online poker has grown rapidly in Brazil over recent years, but most available platforms still fall short on the basics: cluttered lobbies, slow withdrawals, English-only support, and no real consideration for Brazilian players. The 20games was built from the ground up with Brazilian players in mind — and that makes a real difference in the day-to-day experience.
One of the clearest advantages is the range of buy-ins available. The 20games covers everyone from players looking to run R$ 5.00 in a Sit & Go to those chasing NL500 cash games or High Rollers with a R$ 550.00 buy-in. No player segment gets left behind — the platform grows with you. Starting at the micros, you'll find enough action to sharpen your game. When you move up, the tables are there waiting.
The tournament structure at 20games is another major strength. Every week, over 50 tournaments run in the lobby, with guarantees ranging from R$ 5,000.00 in daily freerolls up to R$ 200,000.00 in Friday High Rollers. The Sunday Special — held every Sunday at 6 PM with a R$ 55.00 buy-in and a R$ 50,000.00 guarantee — has become a benchmark among Brazilian players on the platform. It's one of the most competitive and most talked-about tournaments in the community.
For players in the VIP Program at 20games, poker gets even more rewarding. Gold, Platinum, and Diamond members receive weekly invitations to the VIP Freeroll, with R$ 20,000.00 guaranteed and restricted access — no players outside the program can enter. On top of that, VIP members earn a higher rakeback, which makes a real difference over the long run for high-volume cash game players.
Rake is fully transparent at 20games. In cash games, the rake is 5% of the pot with a cap of R$ 3.00 per hand at NL50 tables and above. In tournaments, the registration fee is always shown separately from the buy-in — you know exactly how much goes to the prize pool and how much goes to the platform. That level of transparency isn't standard in the market, but it's non-negotiable at the 20games.
Fast poker — called "Rush" on the platform — is one of the most popular formats among mobile players. The concept is simple: you fold a hand and you're instantly moved to a new table with new opponents. This eliminates dead time between hands and lets you play up to 4x more hands per hour than at a standard table. For players focused on study and high volume, it's the ideal format.
Player support for poker at 20games is available in Brazilian Portuguese 24 hours a day. This covers questions about specific rules, technical issues during games, and withdrawal inquiries after tournaments. Diamond members get a dedicated personal VIP manager who can expedite withdrawals after major wins without going through standard procedures — a convenience that top players really appreciate.
If you're Brazilian and looking for a serious place to play online poker — whether you're a beginner working through micro stakes or an experienced player grinding mid stakes volume — the 20games is the natural choice. Sign up, make a deposit via Pix from R$ 20.00, and head to the lobby. Daily freerolls are available from day one, with no minimum deposit required to enter. It's the best way to get familiar with the platform before putting real money on the cash game tables.

The most common terms at the tables — translated and explained in English
Real experiences from players already on the platform
"I've been playing online poker for four years, and 20games has the most organized lobby I've ever seen. There's always a tournament running at any hour, Pix withdrawals land instantly, and support got back to me in under 3 minutes when I had a technical issue."
"I made my first deposit of R$ 50.00, entered the freeroll, and cashed R$ 320.00. I requested the withdrawal and it hit my Nubank account in under 2 minutes. That sold me. Now I play here every day."
"What won me over was the transparency. Rake is shown before every table, tournament rules are clear, and there are no hidden fees. On other platforms, you only find out the real cost after the fact. Not here."
